Children’s Expedition Luncheon
MountainStar Family Relief Nursery is hosting its 5th Annual Children’s Expedition Luncheon on Wednesday, September 30th at the Riverhouse Convention Center in Bend. This is an invitation-only event, however, we invite interested parties to contact MountainStar at 541-322-6820 to participate. During this one-hour event, Executive Director Tim Rusk and notable speakers will share the inspiring story of MountainStar's work to prevent child abuse in Deschutes County. Guests will also have the opportunity to hear from one very special MountainStar family as well as learn about MountainStar's plans for the future. Birdies 4 Babies
MountainStar Family Relief Nursery kicked off this season's Birdies 4 Babies, a grass-roots golfing fundraiser. Here are some ways you can be a MountainStar Birdie Maker:
1. Celebrate your gross or net birdies by asking your partners to make a donation to MountainStar.
2. Donate your 2-Club, Birdie-Club or Tournament Winnings.
3. Sponsor your local Birdies 4 Babies golf professional.

Star Dinners, otherwise known as the MountainStar Dinner Party Series provides an easy and fun way to give to MountainStar any time of year. As a STAR host, you provide the food, drink, entertainment, etc. for your guests and then determine what amount you will ask your guests to donate to MountainStar. As a guest, you simply make your donation to MountainStar and enjoy a dinner with friends. All proceeds will benefit MountainStar Family Relief Nursery. The Central Oregon Chapter of the Painting and Decorating Contractors of America (PDCA) held their 2nd Annual Carving for Kids pumpkin-carving fundraiser on Saturday, October 25th at Ray's Food Place in Bend. The event was very successful, raising close to $1,000 for MountainStar Family Relief Nursery. Thank you PDCA! |
